TUTTO FATTO

Brewery: BIRRIFICIO WAR

Our flagship beer, a deep golden color with amber reflection, slightly opalescent, generates a modest amount of foam but with a discreet finesse and compactness. The nose is pervaded by a decidedly intense bouquet dominated by the fragrances of hops that give memories os strawberry grapes, elderberries, nectarine peach in syrup, lychee and papaya. Secondly, after a few seconds in the glass, you can perceive the contribution of the malts with a hint of toasted bread. On the palate it is rich and opulent, with a significant initial sweet component colored by papaya puree and peach in syrup, the carbonation is subtle and moderate and the body is full and round, with significant consistency that fills the palate before giving way to the citrus finish, with clear hints of bitter orange and a very perceptible warmth in the throat that warns us of the notable alcoholic strength of this beer.

ALE VINTAGE
Style: BARLEY WINE
ABV: 11.3% vol.
Brewery: THOMAS HARDY'S ALE
Country: United Kingdom
Thomas Hardy's Ale Vintage is the barley wine produced by the eponymous English brand, initially with the intention of paying homage to the poet and writer Thomas Hardy, who in 1880 described the beer of his hometown Dorchester as "bright like an autumn sunset" in this work The Trumpet Major. In 1968, the Eldridge Pope Brewery team produced the first Thomas Hardy's Ale Vintage, on the 40th anniversary of the poet's death, creating a legendary beer that more than half a century later, remains the main benchmark for the reference beer style. A deep amber beer with brown highlights due to the long boiling process that caramelizes the British Marris Otter and Light Crystal malts, Thomas Hardy's Ale Vintage immediately strikes with its rich and complex bouquet, featuring candied fruit, fruit in alcohol, dried figs, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodies and smooth, reminiscent of honey, dried fruit and bitter orange. The finish is long, with a hint of bitterness and a tart note. The complexity of this beer is enhanced by six months of aging in oak barrels, which imparts its sweet and warm aromas. One of those beers that absolutely cannot be missed in the experience of any lover of good beer. Barley wine is the traditional British style, know since th 18th century, which includes beers created from strong ales brewed to have a vinous character. These are robust beers, generally exceeding 10% alcohol by volume, often aged in wooden barrels and evolving over time. Body, complexity and structure are the key characteristics.

Brewery: ST. JAMES'S GATE BREWERY
Country: Ireland
When someone looks at you and says “Pint?”, this is the pint they’re talking about. If you want something else, you’ll have to specify. It’s rich, it’s creamy, and it’s black (well actually, if you look closely, Guinness is ruby red in colour but don’t tell anyone!). It’s everything it promises to be. Every time. It’s what we’re famous for, and although we love all of our beers just the same, it will always hold a special place in our Guinness Draught loving hearts. Hopefully yours too. Truly unique. Perfectly balanced. Not many people know this, but the iconic pint wasn’t the first beer brewed by the man himself* *The man himself = Arthur Guinness. If you knew that, get yourself a Guinness Draught. Guinness Draught in fact was only brewed for the first time in 1959 to celebrate the 200-year anniversary since Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000-year lease on St. James’s Gate Brewery. Good man Arthur, he clearly knew a good thing when he saw it!

BUDVAR
Style: LAGER
ABV: 5% vol.
Brewery: BUDWEISER
Country: Italy
Budweiser Budvar is a Czech beer brewed in the southern Bohemian town of České Budějovice, a town better known outside the Czech Republic under its old German name of Budweis. It’s the town’s name that gives a clue to the reason why, for more than a century, there has been a long and bitter legal battle between two producers of beers labelled “Budweiser.” Anheuser-Busch InBev, the American brewer of Budweiser, claims that its beer is the original. See anheuser-busch. It is true that the St Louis, Missouri, brewery was producing its version of Budweiser some 30 years before Budvar, but this outlook ignores the long history of brewing in Budweis. The south Bohemian town has been a major brewing center for centuries and its beers were given the generic name of Budweiser beer, just as pilsner beer has its origins in Pilsen. The beers from Budweis were so popular at the Bohemian royal court that they were known as the “Beer of Kings.” In the 19th century, a brewery owned by German-speaking Bohemians, the Budweiser Burgerbrau or Citizen’s Budweis Brewery, was formed from a merger of two smaller companies. It exported its beers widely under the Budweiser trademark.

GAMBRINUS
Style: India Pacific Lager
ABV: 5% vol.
Brewery: Taverna Gambrinus
Country: Italy

SHAKA WOOP
Style: IPA with pink pepper
ABV: 6% vol.
Brewery: Rotorcraft Brewery
Country: Italy
Slightly hazy beer with a deep golden yellow color, characterized by a white foam with medium bubble grain and moderate persistence. The aroma begins with a spicy profile and evident notes of pink pepper, which dominate the aromatic bouquet for a few minutes. Shortly after, the nose opens up to other intriguing aromas of tropical fruits and apricot. The malty component is quite pronounced, with notes of biscuit. On the palate, it is well-balanced; the predominant taste is bitterness, initially from hops, which pleasantly evolves into a lingering bitterness around the palate, thanks to the use of pink pepper in the brewing process. Excellent mouthfeel, with fine and intriguing carbonation, a medium body, and a very enjoyable drinkability. A beer with authentic character, perfect for spice lovers seeking original flavors!
